I remeber Cherie as a bright, friendly classmate.  I hope she had a wonderful life and may she rest in peace.

Sad to hear of a friend and classmate gone.  My condolences to her family and loved ones.  At our last class reunion, I apologized to her for spraying her with ink (we had those pens you dipped in an ink bottle) as my table mate in grammar school.  She didn´t remember it...so I was relieved after so many years of remorse... Fond memories. I´ll see her up there one of these days.

Cherie and I were in one or two classes together at Schurz.  We didn't become friends until after high school when several of us began palling around together.  We sometimes got together for lunch or dinner and enjoyed playing canasta.  Mostly we enjoyed visiting and catching up on activities.  Cherie moved out to Las Vegas quite some time ago and I'd seen her only twice when she came for an area visit.   Cherie was a lot of fun and always kept the conversation lively.  From your friends here in IL - we miss you.
