Thanks everybody for the update. How sad...so young. Must have completed his purpose. Did he have a wife and family? My condolences. He was always a ni e guy. He showed us the good in mankind and for that we have all been blessed.
My namesake....we had a great time in Scouts and the Oasappie Scout camp, Saturday-morning football, band. Good at working with youth and community service. All Wildwood remembers him...and his wide smile.

Does anybody know the details of Glen's death? I was surprised to see his name on the list of Memorials. Would like to know what happened.
Thanks

As I recall, Glen Hansen died of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma while quite young, perhaps as early as age 21.
He was the first one in our Wildwood Elementary graduating class to pass away.
I believe he was working at the Leaning Tower YMCA at the time.
He was an all-around nice guy, smart, athletic, musical, never in trouble, a perfect kid.
His early death was an extreme shock to all who knew him.
